This role involves working collaboratively with the maintenance and renovation teams to ensure that our rental units and common areas are presented in pristine condition. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality painting services that meet our standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, priming, sanding, and selecting appropriate materials and colors.
- Apply paint using various tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
- Conduct graffiti removal from both interior and exterior surfaces.
- Focus on turnover painting in residential suites and perform touch-ups in common areas.
- Assist the renovation team with suite renovations and other projects as needed.
- Complete work orders and documentation using our property management software.
- Participate in community meetings and stay updated on on-site initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma; additional education is a plus.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a professional painting role.
- Proficient knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Experience in carpentry and renovations is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during peak times.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional demeanor and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Security clearance may be necessary upon employment offer.
