Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and audit homes under construction to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
  • Maintain knowledge of local and provincial regulations and building codes, and implement industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior construction management to identify process gaps and improve efficiency.
  • Establish and lead on-site safety expectations.
  • Ensure projects are built to Brookfield quality standards.
  • Manage job costs and schedules to ensure projects are completed on budget.
  • Review soils reports, building plans, and develop contingency plans.
  • Review and understand the scope of work of each trade partner.
  • Ensure all required inspections are completed and deficiencies are rectified.
  • Conduct meaningful staff reviews and set measurable goals.
  • Contribute to outstanding customer experience.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma or working towards a diploma in construction management, PMP designation or Journeyman certification.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a Manager capacity and full project scope experience.
  • Possess or willing to obtain a First Aid certificate, obtain WHMIS certificate.
  • Proficient in MS Office products and good computer skills.
  • Ability to walk uneven terrain, kneel down, climb a ladder and stairs.
  • Lift/push/pull up to 10 pounds.
