We are seeking a highly skilled Content Marketing Specialist to join our team at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. as a Content Marketer. This is a highly collaborative and cross-functional role, working closely with our marketing team to develop and create marketing campaigns that support our sales team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a content marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and drive online traffic to our website.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to write and produce effective copy and visuals for multiple channels, including email campaigns, website, blog, sales material, social media, digital ads, video, and print.
- Assist in recruiting and scheduling guests to come on our podcast show and reaching out to media relations.
- Assist the team with marketing material and create visually appealing infographics, brochures, and presentations.
- Manage multiple deadlines without compromising quality or creative edge.
- Hold an undergraduate/bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or public relations.
- Have 1-2 years' experience in a marketing role.
- Present yourself in a polished appearance in a formal business environment.
- Have the ability to articulate clearly in both written and verbal settings and be the master of attention to detail.
- Be excited about design and be forward-thinking in your approach.
- Have experience with social media and digital marketing, including but not limited to: X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Google Suite (Adwords, Analytics).
- Experience using SquareSpace, Wordpress, or other web content management systems.
- Experience using ConstantContact or other email marketing software.
- Knowledge of SEO.
- Graphic design experience with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop) or similar software.
- Previous background/experience in finance-related or communications field.
