Job Title: Floor Covering Installer

The Smart Renovations Inc is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a Floor Covering Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and resilient flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors
  • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations
  • Install materials on counter tops and raised platforms
  • Install vinyl decking materials
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 hours per week
