**Job Summary**

Penske Transportation Solutions is seeking a skilled Mobile Tire Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Mount and balance tires on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform duties with minimal supervision in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Conduct tire rotations to ensure even tread wear and maximize tire life, reducing the risk of tire-related issues.
  • Inspect tires for damage, bulges, and other issues, recommending appropriate repairs or replacements to prevent accidents and downtime.
  • Diagnose tire-related issues and recommend effective solutions to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct tire repairs, including patching and plugging punctures, and address other tire-related problems efficiently to maintain vehicle safety and performance.
  • Utilize tire mounting and balancing equipment effectively and safely, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results, reducing the risk of errors and rework.
  • Complete service orders and other necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
