About the Role

We are seeking a talented Underwriting Specialist, Engineered Property to join our team at CNA Financial Corporation.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of complex risk management principles and their application in the insurance industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with engineered property underwriting.
  • Analyze and evaluate risk profiles to determine accurate premium rates and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders, agents, and brokers, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to maintain expertise and make informed decisions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as risk management, insurance, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in underwriting, risk management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of insurance principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
