KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Healthcare Assistant, your role will involve supporting residents with their daily activities, delivering care, and ensuring their overall well-being. Your responsibilities will include:

SUPPORTING RESIDENTS

  • Assisting residents with daily activities such as eating, dressing, and mobility
  • Ensuring cleanliness in resident accommodations and shared spaces
  • Responding swiftly to resident inquiries
  • Coordinating recreational activities for residents

PROVIDING CARE

  • Administering medications as required
  • Monitoring residents' health conditions and reporting any changes
  • Adhering to care plans and established protocols
  • Delivering first aid during emergencies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in Healthcare Facility Assistance or equivalent
  • Current CPR certification
  • Fluency in French

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Ability to manage emergency situations effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and attentive approach to caregiving
