Description:
This role involves teaching performance techniques related to technology, with a focus on acting for the camera and microphone. The course will cover contemporary national and international theatre trends.
Responsibilities:
- Teach acting techniques to students at the post-secondary level
- Develop and implement course outlines and final grades in coordination with the professor of the microphone component
- Coordinate with the professor of the microphone component for course outlines and final grades
Requirements:
- Five years of experience teaching acting at the post-secondary level and/or five years of recent and significant professional acting or directing experience related to the course theme
- Knowledge of contemporary national and international theatre trends
Additional Information:
This is a regular part-time professor position at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the professor of the microphone component to ensure a smooth and successful course delivery.
