As a Retail Store Tailor Part Time, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every customer leaves the store satisfied and with a customized product that fits perfectly.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting in the selling process, and using your expertise in alterations to expertly mark, alter, and press garments. Your tasks will include:

  • Ensuring the proper fit of garments
  • Answering customer questions
  • Marking garments for tailoring
  • Pressing garments
  • Maintaining an open dialogue with management
  • Helping other team members
  • Keeping the tailor shop clean and organized
  • Ensuring customers are properly sized
  • Offering new wardrobe ensemble suggestions

What We're Looking For

We seek a highly motivated and customer-friendly Retail Store Tailor Part Time with formal training in tailoring and experience as a tailor for menswear. You should possess good technical skills, sound knowledge of various types of sewing equipment, strong communication skills, a team attitude, and enthusiasm. Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men's tailored clothing is essential.
