We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at S&A Crafts. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom furniture and cabinetry for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Build Custom Furniture: Create custom furniture and cabinetry for our clients, using a variety of woods and materials.
- Operate CADD and Computer Software: Use computer-aided design (CADD) and other software systems to design and plan projects.
- Supervise and Train Apprentices: Supervise and train apprentices in the art of cabinetmaking and furniture craftsmanship.
- Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment: Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Estimate Costs and Materials: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Environment: Non-smoking work environment.
