Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the planning and oversight of assigned projects to ensure they are completed in line with design specifications, safety protocols, and budgetary constraints to meet profitability goals.
  2. Coordinate resources necessary for project execution.
  3. Oversee subcontractors and suppliers.
  4. Engage with clients and stakeholders.
  5. Prepare and monitor budget and cost reports.
  6. Assess design modifications.
  7. Serve as a resource for project teams.
  8. Manage progress claims and modifications with clients.
  9. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  10. Handle Requests for Information (RFI), submittals, transmittals, and project closeout documentation.
Required Competencies:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
  2. In-depth understanding of civil engineering principles and the ability to convey concepts effectively.
  3. Proficient in reading and analyzing engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  4. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
  5. Ability to work autonomously.
  6. Strong organizational and communication skills.
  7. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  8. Excellent time management capabilities.
  9. Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  10. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is an asset.
