Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Yes Concrete Cutting and Coring Inc.
Job Summary:The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces, including walls, floors, and ceilings. This involves checking formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials, directing the placement of concrete, and operating power vibrators to compact the concrete.
Key Responsibilities:- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications
- Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is level and even
- Impart a desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team
- Dependability and ability to meet deadlines
The Concrete Finisher will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors, and will be exposed to dusty, noisy, and wet/damp environments.
