Culinary Specialist Position

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to enhance our kitchen team at Haldi Fine Indian Cuisine. The ideal candidate will possess a secondary school graduation certificate and have between 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced culinary environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Address customer dietary restrictions and allergies with care and attention.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
  • Provide training to kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safe handling practices.
  • Manage inventory by ordering necessary supplies and equipment in a timely manner.
  • Supervise kitchen personnel and assist in their development.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records to ensure proper stock levels.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in all kitchen and work areas.
  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for kitchen staff.
  • Organize and manage buffets and banquets effectively.
  • Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
Supervision

This position will involve supervising general cooks and kitchen helpers.

Employment Terms

This is a permanent position with a commitment of 32 to 40 hours per week.
