About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. as a Community Development and Growth Expert. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Initiatives

As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all elements of an RFP response. This will involve analyzing information requested, developing a response plan, initiating a Go/No Go discussion, conducting win strategy reviews, conducting proposal kick-off meetings, managing and working with a team to develop response sections, and monitoring consistency of strategic messages.

Prepare High-Impact Proposals and Presentations

You will be responsible for preparing high-impact proposals, presentations, and other communications in alignment with the Stantec brand. This will involve working closely with key business development leaders to coordinate strategic client-facing events, materials, and other communications.

Support Business Development and Account Management Efforts

You will provide input and work with portfolio leads to support Stantec's corporate and regional goals for revenue growth, profitability, and market leadership. This will involve supporting client development and account management efforts and helping to maintain Stantec's internal systems for information management related to opportunity/lead tracking, people and projects, and promotional activity.

Grow Our Brand Position

You will work closely with our Promotions and Public Relations specialists to support the planning and implementation of thought leadership, award submissions, conference abstracts, and promotional activities. This will involve leveraging local and global networks within Stantec to support marketing processes and value propositions.

Qualifications
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills

You will possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in cooperation with a larger regional team.

Proven Experience in Marketing and Communications

You will have proven experience developing responses to detailed requests for proposals (RFPs) and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and web-based interfaces.

Post-Secondary Education in Marketing or Communications

You will have a post-secondary education in marketing, communications, journalism, English, business, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the A/E/C industry as a marketing professional.
