Family Medicine Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Practitioner to join our team at Morinville Family Medical Clinic. This role is essential in providing comprehensive healthcare services to families in our community.

• Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role.

• Setting: Rural area, private practice, and clinic.

• Consult with fellow medical professionals to assess patients' physical and mental well-being.
• Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments.
• Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and manage illnesses.
• Advise patients on various health care matters.
• Coordinate and manage primary patient care effectively.
• Provide acute care management as needed.
• Offer counseling and support to patients and their families regarding health and lifestyle issues.
• Supervise home care services to ensure quality support.

• College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP).
• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Client-focused with dependable service delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Organized and reliable team player with a commitment to values and ethics.
