Job Title: Online Software Engineer

Electronic Arts is seeking a highly skilled Online Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing server features and components using EA's Digital Platform technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop server-side features and components to support online gaming experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize feature development.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable server-side code.
  • Work with partner teams to stand up and maintain online infrastructure and services.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our engineering practices.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on C++.
  • Experience with networked applications or features (client/server and peer-to-peer).
  • Experience developing in and debugging multi-threaded/concurrent architectures.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g. MySQL, SQL, Redis).
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
