Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse - General Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team in the General Medicine Unit. As a key member of our inter-professional healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient-focused nursing care to patients who are identified as less complex and demonstrate more predictable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in the General Medicine Unit
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Recent experience in acute general medicine nursing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of an inter-professional team
  • Knowledge of patient and family-centered care
