  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Skills: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Windows.

The Accounting Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
