Job Overview

As a Customer Service Attendant with Qualico Canada, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting clients with order pickups and returns, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide top-notch customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and task lists as assigned by the Customer Service Supervisor, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized customer pick-up area and warehouse, adhering to company standards.
  • Verify packages for accuracy of material types and quantities prior to customer pickups, ensuring seamless order fulfillment.
  • Assist in loading and unloading products, and rotating stock in the warehouse as needed, promoting efficient inventory management.
  • Work safely and ensure compliance with Qualico Canada's Safety Program and relevant safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Provide support to other projects or duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented mindset.

Work Environment

You will primarily work in the outdoor lumber yard during regular retail business hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The role involves exposure to noise from equipment/machinery and occupational hazards, as well as dealing with inclement weather and dust. Overtime may occasionally be required, but this will be discussed with the team and management in advance.
