We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter to join our team at YOUNG BLOOD CONSTRUCTION LTD.. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in carpentry
The role will involve working in various locations, often in demanding conditions that may include dusty environments.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roofing systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
This position is physically demanding, requiring strength and stamina.
Tools and EquipmentIt is essential for candidates to have their own tools, including steel-toed safety boots.
Personal Attributes- Reliability and dependability
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work will be English.
