Job Summary
Ainsworth is on the lookout for proficient Refrigeration and HVAC Technicians to become part of our expanding team. This position involves the assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC and Refrigeration systems, as well as kitchen equipment and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose HVAC equipment with a comprehensive understanding of wiring diagrams.
- Install HVAC/R-related equipment and components efficiently.
- Assist in the servicing and overhaul of HVAC/R units and systems.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.
- Execute all tasks safely, adhering to applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Contribute to the training and mentoring of apprentices.
- Comply with the Company's Quality System operating procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Certified Red Seal Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanic.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial setting.
- Experience in the repair and maintenance of restaurant refrigeration equipment.
- Familiarity with the tools, methods, and materials used in the HVAC Refrigeration trade.
- A valid driver's license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are advantageous.
- Preference for candidates with dual Journeyman Certification (Electrician, Plumber/Gasfitter).
