Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Circle K. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Directly supervise and manage a team of retail employees, including Assistant Managers, Lead Representatives, and Customer Service Representatives.
- Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and train positive and enthusiastic employees to ensure excellent customer service.
- Store Operations: Develop and implement strategies to maintain a clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well-kept store environment.
- Customer Service: Promote excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Financial Management: Analyze daily sales and expense information, and take appropriate action to maximize sales and net profits.
- Inventory Management: Manage and supervise store employees to ensure that all merchandise is stocked, attractively displayed, and priced correctly.
- Employee Development: Prepare and conduct on-going performance appraisals, provide performance-based feedback, and develop employee skills and knowledge.
- Communication: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure that all employees receive proper communication in a timely manner.
- Organizational Skills: Evaluate and develop specific action plans to address the needs of the store and achieve desired objectives.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, plus 1-2 years of retail work experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Skills: Ability to supervise and train employees, manage store operations, analyze sales and expense information, and develop effective communication strategies.
- Certifications: Food Server certificate (ServSafe) and Food Safety Management certification may be required.

- Work requires 40 hours per week and can include hours on all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform approximately 95% of all work indoors, but will be required to clean parking lots, gas pumps, take out garbage, etc.
- Exposure to extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.
- Exposure to occasional noise.
