We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at GRD Construction Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of our projects.
- Paint Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Scaffolding and Rigging: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as required for safe and efficient painting operations.
- Quality Control: Read and interpret specifications, and follow verbal instructions to ensure that our projects meet the highest quality standards.
- Work Setting: Work in various locations, including construction sites and offices, and be willing to relocate as required.
- Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, including bending, crouching, and kneeling, and the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
