Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders, receiving and storing inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including picking, packing, and shipping
- Receive and store inventory, including counting and verifying shipments
- Load and unload trucks, operate forklift and other material handling equipment
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged material
- Notify the team of any inventory discrepancies and damaged/defective material
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
- A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
- Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
- Able to develop comprehensive product knowledge
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and any other material handling equipment
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and accurately process orders
