Job Summary:

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is seeking skilled Industrial Instrumentation Technicians to join our team in Regina. As an Industrial Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation systems in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation systems, including sensors, transmitters, and control systems
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Develop and implement instrumentation plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance

Requirements:

  • Journeyman Instrument certificate or equivalent experience
  • Registered Instrumentation Apprentice (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year) or willing to be indentured into the trade
  • Previous conduit experience and instrumentation construction and maintenance experience in the industrial oil and gas sector are considered assets
  • Valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals Certificates
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including shift work, overtime, and weekends
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
