About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications Student to join our team at PCL Construction. As a Communications Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by researching, writing, and proofreading engaging content for internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong customer-focused relationships with our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor, measure, and analyze engagement on traditional and social media platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager to develop creative visual content.
  • Support the ideation, planning, and execution of district events.
  • Consistently apply PCL Construction's branding to communication deliverables.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or diploma in journalism, communications, or equivalent.
  • A proficient writer with excellent proofreading skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of various communication media.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively and take initiative in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • A critical thinker with sound decision-making skills.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and organize information accurately and effectively.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
