About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Villages Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to meet the expectations of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Special Meals: Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by our dietitian or chef, demonstrating your ability to work with diverse dietary needs.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and customers.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a positive attitude and working collaboratively with our team.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
