Job Title: Showroom Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Showroom Sales Representative to join our team in Victoria, BC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and driving sales growth in our commercial food equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures.
  • Participate in merchandising and promotional activities to drive sales growth.
  • Ensure a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
  • Perform daily cash procedures, handle cash/debit/credit transactions, and close cash at the end of each day.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Un-pack, price, display, and merchandise products in the showroom.
  • Promote all in-store demonstrations and events.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the showroom, dust, and tidy displays and front counter area.
  • Count inventory as necessary.
  • Participate in product knowledge sessions and ensure that all product knowledge is current.
  • Contribute to a healthy and safe workplace.
  • Assist with shipping-receiving tasks when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations.
  • Functions well in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Retail sales experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs; Excel, Word, Outlook.
