Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious HR leader to join our team at J.D. Irving, Limited. As a key member of our Executive Leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of HR professionals across Canada and driving strategic HR initiatives that impact business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives
  • Lead a team of HR professionals to deliver best-in-class people practices
  • Collaborate with senior HR leaders to define and implement the HR strategic agenda
  • Implement talent acquisition, development, planning, and performance development strategies to attract and retain top talent
Requirements
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • CPHR designation or equivalent
  • 15+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a senior leadership role
  • Experience leading HR teams across multiple sites and provinces
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Fluency in English and French (asset)
