We are seeking a highly skilled Car Washer - Detailing Specialist to join our team at Poirier Hyundai. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and presentation of our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Cleaning Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate various cleaning machines and equipment to clean the interior and exterior of motor vehicles.
- Clean Vehicles: Clean and detail the interior and exterior of vehicles, including windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Vacuum and Clean Floors: Vacuum and clean floors, including carpets and rugs, to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Maintain Certifications and Licenses: Maintain and update certifications and licenses, such as the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
- Operate Specialized Equipment: Operate specialized equipment, such as carpet cleaning machines, chemical cleaning equipment, polishing machines, pressure cleaners, and waxing machines.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
- Language: Fluency in French is required.
- Physical Demands: This role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
- Work Environment: The work environment is wet/damp, and the role requires working in a fast-paced environment.
