Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at the Greater Victoria School District #61. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plumbing systems in our schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment
  • Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as needed
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
  • Legally able to work in Canada
  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience
  • Certificate of Apprenticeship in plumbing or equivalent
  • Certificate of Qualification to perform Class B Gas Fitter duties
  • Valid BC driver's license
  • Four or more years of experience in similar duties
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of partners
