Job Title: General Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Labourer to join our team at a manufacturing facility in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling tires, moving them from one area of the plant to conveyor, and loading the tires onto the belt. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and has a positive outlook, strong work ethic, and enjoys learning new roles and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow safety and quality procedures to move product in a manufacturing environment
  • Handle and stack tires, and move them to another area of the plant to be loaded onto a conveyor
  • Lift, pull, and push tires repetitively (30-50lbs)
  • Perform other general labor and physical labor tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Previous industrial or labour experience is an asset
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Capable of working 12 hour shifts, including night shifts and weekends
  • Comfortable with operation of Forklift (training provided)
  • Able to work in a team or autonomously (with little supervision)
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment

Please note that candidates must be comfortable having their criminal background checked. We are seeking someone who is a highly motivated and reliable team player for this position. Previous industrial experience is an asset but not always necessary. This position is located in Bridgewater, NS. Candidates must have reliable transportation to and from the work site.
