About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fabricator to join our team at Scout Talent Inc. as a Metal Fabrication Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling structural steel components for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and fabricate structural steel components, including beams, columns, and other metal structures.
  • Operate and maintain metal fabrication equipment, such as saws, drills, and welding machines.
  • Assemble and install metal components, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure metal components meet industry standards.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication, preferably in a structural steel setting.
  • Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, including welding, cutting, and assembling.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
