The Finance Analysis team at CPP Investments is seeking an Assistant to provide essential support. The selected candidate will be instrumental in delivering tailored reports and analyses concerning investment performance, expenses, and risk exposure. A solid understanding of financial analysis principles, coupled with excellent organizational and communication abilities, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to generate analyses for senior leadership, highlighting crucial financial insights.
- Develop engaging documents to facilitate discussions, utilizing innovative methods to present data visually.
- Assist during the annual business planning process to enable services in executing their strategic objectives.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of financial data.
- Support new data initiatives and analytical projects to enhance information flow and provide well-informed recommendations.
- Work alongside Finance colleagues to create self-service resources that address evolving analytical requirements.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.
- Address ad-hoc requests to support board discussions and assess investment programs.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:

- A minimum of four years of experience in financial analysis within the financial services sector.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; professional certifications (CFA, CPA, CIPM) are advantageous.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
- Strong presentation capabilities in MS PowerPoint.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Skilled in coordinating between stakeholders and managing project deliverables.
- Self-motivated, a critical thinker, and adaptable to new challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Must embody the core values of CPP Investments.
