Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

At WELL Health Technologies Corp, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the full accounts payable cycle, including processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage accounts payable invoices, including coding and approvals
  • Oversee weekly accounts payable payment runs and maintain cash flow requirements
  • Set up and modify bank wires, cash transfers, and templates
  • Participate in doctor pay calculations, journal entries, and payment processing
  • Monitor accounts payable inbox and respond to vendor inquiries
  • Assist with local, provincial, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Assess current processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or related field
  • 2+ years of previous experience in A/P
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong customer focus to provide excellent service to business stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
