Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Engineer to join our team at Explorer Group Canada Ltd. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software, and other embedded software control systems.
  • Ensure the development of high-quality software solutions that meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
