Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shop Mechanic to join our team at Miller Paving Northern. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining all of our equipment, including light vehicles, heavy trucks, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is running smoothly and efficiently
  • Document all maintenance activities and repairs
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless equipment operation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
