We are seeking a highly skilled Justice Policy Analyst to join our team at Métis Nation British Columbia. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing intersectional, trauma-informed research and analysis on justice issues impacting Métis people.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed research and analyze policy developments to inform legislative actions, programs, awareness campaigns, and funding approaches.
- Make recommendations for policy changes and program development to address justice issues affecting Métis communities.
- Participate in committees and project teams to ensure Métis voices and experiences are integrated into all reports, research, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to drive innovative solutions and advance justice for Métis people.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth analysis of complex policy issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Métis history, culture, and experiences, and a commitment to advancing justice for Métis people.
