We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Distribution team at EssilorLuxottica. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the logistics department, providing guidance and leadership to the team to achieve our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and service promise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the floor and assign daily tasks to achieve daily goals
- Communicate information from management to the outbound team and vice versa
- Monitor all orders and ensure they are shipped per our service promise
- Continued focus on improving employee engagement and motivation, including employee feedback and recognition
- Identify process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Provide feedback to supervisors on employee performance and development
- Regular engagement with other teams, including inbound, trainers, inventory, transportation, and customer service
- Assist trainers in ensuring staff is skilled and aware of day-to-day procedures
- Assist in hiring, identifying, and developing team members
- Manage controllable costs, especially labor in relation to output
- Oversee facility upkeep and safety maintenance
- Conduct confidential and sensitive conversations
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, and sense of urgency
- Intermediate knowledge and skills of computers and Microsoft Office
