Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Parcel Delivery Driver to join our team at On Time City Logistics Corp. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering packages and goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to ensure timely delivery of packages and goods.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to customer needs and inquiries.
  • Package Handling: Handle and transport packages and goods with care, ensuring they are delivered in good condition.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered during delivery.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is outdoors, with various locations and tasks involved.
