Job Summary

This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of various physical plant and specialized equipment in assigned 7-Eleven/Stripes stores within a geographic area. The role involves on-the-job training and assessment of new technicians, as well as responding to work orders for equipment maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-the-job training and assessment of new technicians
  • Respond to work orders for equipment maintenance and repair, including HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems
  • Perform follow-up assessments and training of new technicians after they have been in the field for a given time
  • Assist in the development of best practices for training and equipment maintenance
  • Support and develop strategies to support continual growth and skills development with technicians
Requirements
  • High School/GED
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Refrigeration/Electrician/Plumbing/Appliance Journeyman level license issued by the province in which the work is performed
Preferred Skills
  • Leadership and peer-to-peer tech support
  • Effective communication and project management
  • Facility location ownership and ability to lead a team
