About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at AIRROAD XPRESS INC. as a key member of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Driving: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from tractor-trailers, adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and respond to unexpected situations while on the road.
  • Logistics and Record-Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining effective communication with the team and management.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, with a focus on developing skills and expertise in long-haul truck driving.
Work Environment and Conditions
  • Work Type: On the road job, with a focus on long-haul transportation.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 50 to 60 hours per week.
