Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the YMCA of Three Rivers. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, while also supporting the development of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement a child-centered program in accordance with our curriculum guidelines
  • Provide quality care and support to children and their families
  • Build positive relationships with children and families, and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers
  • Ensure the supervision and safety of children at all times, and comply with provincial and municipal policies and procedures
  • Observe and document children's learning and development, and make recommendations for program improvements
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
  • Up-to-date immunizations, as required by Public Health
  • Ability to work outdoors for at least 2 hours daily, year-round
  • Flexibility and adaptability regarding assigned working hours
