Mother's Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and organized Mother's Helper to join our team at Dorine Dervishian. As a key member of our household support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our family.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to keep our home tidy
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development to promote their well-being
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home by adhering to safety protocols
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children to keep them engaged and entertained
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to fuel our family's busy lifestyle
  • Supervise and care for children to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met
  • Help children with homework to support their academic success
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Food allergy and anaphylaxis training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Reliability, patience, and honesty are essential qualities for this role
