Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Rug Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for providing elite customer service, driving sales, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Client-Driven Service: Lead by example, providing exceptional service to each client, and ensuring they receive an elite Area Rug Shop experience through training and coaching.
- Design Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of interior design and the industry, and communicate accurate and detailed product information to employees and assist in the sales process.
- Operational Management: Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly, delegate effectively to meet deadlines, and participate in inventory management and reception of goods.
- Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the showroom is clean and well-maintained, and trending products are highlighted.
- Experience: 4+ years in retail management, with a proven track record of success.
- Design Passion: Experience and/or passion for interior design, with excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, with task prioritization, multi-tasking, and strong time management.
- Availability: Available to work Monday to Friday, daytime and evening, and daytime Saturday and Sunday (40 hours weekly).
