Job Opportunity: Secondary School Counsellor

We are seeking a qualified Counsellor to join our team at School District No. 27 (Cariboo-Chilcotin). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counselling services to students
  • Develop and implement guidance programs to promote student well-being and academic success
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student learning and development
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance counselling skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Certification with the BC Teacher Regulation Branch or ability to obtain certification prior to commencing the position
  • Training and experience teaching at the secondary level
  • A Master's Degree in Counselling
  • Experience with timetabling
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $75,000 to $109,000 per annum, paid over 10 months
  • Relocation allowance may be offered with this position
