Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to client initiatives under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Team Lead
  • Work with Project Teams to evaluate quality using various methods and tools
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts
  • Identify and report defects, and work with the team to resolve them
  • Collaborate with Business Owners to execute User Acceptance Testing
Requirements:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or similar disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrated testing experience, including functional, performance, connectivity, regression, integration, and automation testing
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrated experience in quality assurance and system testing best practices and methodologies
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in a QA Lead role
  • Excellent communications skills (written and oral) in English
Desired Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in security relating to data confidentiality and client privacy
  • Proficiency in 'open source' performance testing tools for web applications and web services
  • Advanced experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) in a QA environment
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance frameworks and experience with project methodologies such as Waterfall, Waterscrum, Agile

This role includes, but is not limited to, test plans, test cases/scripts, defect reporting and resolution tracking, and working with Provincial Health Care and Electronic Health Records applications in a Canadian context.
