About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Sechelt Saffron Restaurant Ltd. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet the demands of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
• Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer requirements
• Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat to meet customer specifications
• Remove bones from meat to ensure quality and safety
• Cut poultry into parts to meet customer demands
• Clean and prepare fish and shellfish to meet customer requirements
• Cut fish into steaks and fillets to meet customer specifications
• Grind meats to meet customer demands
• Slice cooked meats to meet customer requirements
• Prepare special orders to meet customer specifications
• Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood to meet customer requirements

Work Environment

As a Meat Cutter at Sechelt Saffron Restaurant Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a team environment.
