Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Advisor to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for attracting, nurturing, and growing relationships with our high-value personal and small business clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive, professional advice to clients, collaborating with RBC partners to help them achieve their goals and navigate key life events.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of clients' financial needs, delivering tailored solutions and addressing complex credit and investments.
  • Champion digital enablement, educating clients to self-serve and leveraging technology to connect with clients virtually and face-to-face.
  • Implement effective contact and relationship-building strategies to accelerate new client acquisition and retention in your local community.
  • Collaborate with market-leading professionals in financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking to ensure clients receive customized and relevant expert advice.
Requirements
  • Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
  • Canada (excluding Quebec) - Completed Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation, offered through the Canadian Securities Institute
  • Quebec – Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance, offered through the Canadian Securities Institute
  • 2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices
