We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Porter to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Housekeeping Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

• Perform various cleaning functions and services throughout all areas of the hospital campus
• Understand and follow Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) guidelines
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient cleaning process
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality in all cleaning tasks

• Grade 10 education
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt readily to fast-paced situations
• Ability to lift a minimum of approximately 50 lbs./23 kgs.

This is a full-time position, working 7.75 hours per day, with a 2015 annual base hours. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
